La invasión británica (en inglés British Invasion) fue el movimiento musical predominante en Estados Unidos hacia mediados de los 60s, cuando grupos de rock & roll procedentes del Reino Unido alcanzaron altas cotas de popularidad a raíz del éxito de The Beatles. Todos estos grupos, influenciados por el rock and roll, el blues y el rhythm & blues estadounidenses, creaban canciones sencillas y pegadizas que llenaban los primeros puestos en las listas musicales.
El punto de partida fue los primeros éxitos de The Beatles en las listas musicales estadounidenses, y les siguieron bandas británicas como The Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark Five, The Animals, The Who o The Kinks, entre otros.
El grupo musical British Invasion pretende rendir homenaje a esta música y a los grupos que la interpretaba recuperando temas icónicos que esperamos disfrutéis escuchando y bailando.
